AlzOut Alliance
The AlzOut Alliance is made up of volunteers who play a vital part in the grassroots program to raise funds and awareness about Alzheimer’s and dementia-related conditions. They make a real difference in the lives of people impacted by the diseases as well as honor those that have passed away from them. AlzOut Alliance is based all across America helping raise funds and spread the word to speed up finding a cure.
The types of events and activities organized by Alliance members are varied, both big and small. AlzOut supports Alliance members by helping them organize events from online to letter campaigns, bowling tournaments, trivia events, walks and runs and more.
MISSION
AlzOut is accelerating the pace to capture a cure to end Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases. The goal is to empower scientists conducting innovative research in colleges and universities all over the world by serving as their advocates through awareness and fundraising events.
How AlzOut Achieves Its Mission
AlzOut Fellowship Program
The AlzOut Research Postdoctoral Fellowship program provides funding for talented young investigators and scientists, focusing on specific research in the nation’s top laboratories. AlzOut endeavors to support their interest in dedicating their early careers to Alzheimer’s + Dementia related disease research—ideally providing the tools, funds, relationships, and knowledge that will allow them to become the next generation of top groundbreaking researchers. AlzOut is proud of the Fellowship Program and continues to look for opportunities to enhance this valuable program, which extends the reach of our scientific objectives—finding a cure.
Education + Outreach: AlzOut Alliance
AlzOut produces and hosts unique education and engagement opportunities for existing, new and prospective donors. The more information that people have about these heart-wrenching diseases the more they care. Every planted seed of awareness has the potential to educate another person about Alzheimer’s and dementia-related illnesses, to inspire them to lend a hand in the search for a cure -which is why the AlzOut Alliance was formed.
